First of all, I'd like to express my deepest condolences to Roy's wife Electra, family, friends, and colleagues. I am so sorry to learn about his sudden passing. I am still shellshocked. Although I met Roy through a consultation session, I feel like I lost a good friend. A few years ago, I sought out PCT's support on telehealth when I was starting my private practice. Roy was warm, friendly, kind, and full of knowledge. At that time, I had just learned that he lived in Japan in the past and is providing mental health services to people there. Since I am originally from Japan, I asked Roy about his journey to Japan and how he came to work with people there. I wished that I had more opportunities to learn from Roy. I am forever grateful that Roy shared so much of his great knowledge and who he is with us. Roy's passing is a massive void in the mental health field, and he will be greatly missed. Thank you very much, Electra, for letting me grieve with you. My thoughts are with you.
