I am shocked to see this news today... I send my deepest condolences with you Electra and all who loved Roy. I will always remember the day I met him at a CE event in Washington State. I was just beginning to step into the psychology world and still in graduate school. I was mesmerized by all the talk of HIPAA and everything that comes along with it... Roy was there in front of the room and my anxiety began to melt as soon as he began talking in his encouraging, gently authoritative, and humorous way. He was very gracious and kind as I briefly spoke with him after his presentation- he assured me he would be there to help me navigate the HIPAA maze. PCT was the first call I made when I began to get a practice started up and I felt this each time I was on an office hours or watching a video with him. He was a true model of one's work as an extension of the person and how being one's authentic self draws others to our light. I can imagine how warm and secure a big bear hug from him would have felt... just like the ones my Granddad gave me <3
Roy was one of a kind and I am so grateful to have known him... He will remain in my heart with a big warm bear hug feeling...
RIP Roy, you are deeply missed and will forever be remembered by many <3
