I first met Roy about 7 years ago as my grad school professor for ethics, which he surprisingly made an engaging topic. During that class, one of the things he instilled in me was how important it is to become active members of our professional organizations. Based on his advice, I started volunteering for the Oregon Counseling Association during grad school, and worked with him on the tech committee. Later, when I started my private practice online, consulting with Roy was so valuable for my peace of mind, getting wonderful advice about ethics and technology. I loved seeing him over the years at various conferences, and watching his jovial advice on the PCT videos. My heart goes out to his family, business partners, and close friends. We will all miss you, Roy.
